Creative Crieff will be offering high impact collaboration programmes within our catchment communities, in Music, Film and other creative arts.
Strathearn In Story and Song
Creative Crieff is excited to introduce the ‘Strathearn in Story and Song’ Programme. In honour of the 150th Crieff Highland Gathering, we thought an of no better way to commemorate and celebrate this event, than to highlight the talent in the area with a celebration of its rich and diverse culture and history.
We are calling on all local artists, storytellers and musicians to submit works to be included in a special 20 track CD which will be produced and recorded at the expense of Creative Crieff to celebrate the place we call home.
The content will be chosen by a panel of experts for the community. The CD will be put on sale with all the proceeds to be reinvested back into community outreach programmes.
Creative Crieff will host a celebration concert to showcase the fantastic work. More details to follow, but for more information or to participate, please get in touch via Social Media or by emailing us at Scoogz@Creativecrieff.org
DIY Rock Shop
In coordination with the local schools, we are initiating a project to help young musicians to create their own bands with the help of professional tutors and mentors, learning the dynamics and skills required to play, perform and write as part of a group. A main focus of our is to provide opportunities for young artists to ‘be heard’ and we have made some very exciting links with renowned local venues and festivals.
If you are a musician interested in advancing your talents and performing live, then this is the programme for you!
Stay tuned for an exciting new programme coming coming soon.
